Placing An Ad

· What types of ads are available on NcwNickelAds.com?

Classified (without photos) ads are available to private parties only. All ads will run for the number of weeks specified when placing an ad.

Please email text or other changes to ads@NcwNickelAds.com All ads are subject to approval by NcwNickelAds.com and may be rejected at their discretion.

How long will my ad run?

Classified ads appear online and in the printed publication for at least one week (depending on the option chosen).

· What is the deadline to place my ad online?

All ads submitted online between Monday and Friday noon will be included on NcwNickelAds.com within 24 hours. Ads submitted online after Friday noon will appear on NcwNickelAds.com no later than Monday noon.

Ads placed online by the Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. will appear in Thursday’s issue of Nickel Ads RVs.

Why do the online categories differ from the print categories?

The website categories allow easier browsing for the user in a website environment with different category navigation and the ability to search. Nickel Ads magazine has more categories to fit the parameters of a reader-friendly advertising publication. Every item in Nickel Ads magazine will appear online. Likewise, all items advertised on NcwNickelAds.com will appear in Nickel Ads magazine.

· How much do ads cost?

Classified ads (up to 20 words without a photo) begin at only $6.45 for one week online and in Magazine.

All ads will appear in Nickel Ads and NcwNickelAds.com for one week.

· When does my ad go “live” online?

Ads placed online by the Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. will appear in Thursday’s issue of Nickel Ads.

· Will my online ad run in Nickel Ads Magazines?

YES - To gain the most exposure for your ad, all ads placed online will run in Nickel Ads magazine.

· How do I renew my ad?

Any ad placed online may be renewed by logging in to My Account, and going to the specific ad in My Ads.

· Will you remind me to renew my ad?

YES – We will remind you to renew your ad at least 72 hours before your ad expires online. If you provided your email address when placing your ad you will receive email renewal reminders before your ads expire.

· How do I change or cancel my ad?

Any ad placed online may be modified or cancelled by logging in to My Account, and going to the specific ad in My Ads.

Changes and cancellations made between Monday and Friday noon will be effective online within 24 hours. Changes and cancellations made after Friday noon will be effective no later than Monday noon. Changes and cancellations made by the deadlines listed above will appear in that week’s issue of Nickel Ads. Refunds will not be given once an ad appears online.

· Do you guarantee that my ad will be successful?

Although we strongly believe NcwNickelAds.com and Nickel Ads magazine offer the best advertising value in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, Cashmere, Entiat, Malaga, Rock Island, Waterville, Monitor, Dryden, Peshastin, Leavenworth, Quincy, Chelan, Manson, Oroville, Ellisforde, Tonasket, Winthrop, Twisp, Mallott, Carlton, Brewster, Methow, Pateros, Orondo, Chelan Falls, Bridgeport, Okanogan, Omak, and Riverside, we cannot guarantee results.

· What is the best way to photograph my vehicle or item(s) for sale?

If possible, please use a digital camera to get the best quality photo for both online and print. A plain background such as trees or a wall will work best. Photos taken with film may be scanned and uploaded, but the online photo quality may not be as good as digital photos. Please do not stand too close to the item that you are shooting.

If you are photographing a vehicle, the best shot of your vehicle is a simple 3/4 shot taken with a digital camera. See the examples below:

· What if I do not have a digital camera or a scanner?
